This morning I woke up with my throat not feeling the best – however, I figured it was just due to being tired/allergies.
Workout today: C25K – Walk for 5 minutes, jog for 10 minutes, walk 3 minutes, jog for 10 minutes, walk for 5 minutes.
Weigh In: 160.7
This time last week: 159.3
Breakfast: Two clementine oranges.
Lunch: Dave’s Killer Bread Everything Epic Bagel with thin provolone cheese slices and homemade marinara sauce. 1 small back of rice crisps – ranch flavored.
Dinner: Meatball sub with mozzarella cheese on top (we made the meatballs).
Definitely not feeling the best at all today – lack of sleep and not eating the best the past two days I feel weakened my immune system a bit. Not feeling tired – just a fever, sore throat earlier but now it’s more so drainage, muscle aches, chills, headache are the main symptoms. Definitely am getting plenty of fluids as well!
A few things I’m still keeping an eye out on:
- Amount of sugar in a serving – if it’s more than 4g, I am being cautious
- Amount of protein in a serving – I’m aiming for at least 20g of protein per serving each meal
- Amount of fiber in a serving – I’m doing my best to aim for 20g of fiber each day, but that sure can be difficult!
- If I have a sweet tooth craving, I turn on the keurig and add creamer to my cup of coffee
