Yesterday, 11/7/2022, I did get my run in – however, we were without power and we apparently overloaded the generator, so that put a stop to my run for about 15 minutes until we got things going again… and I chose to run at a slower speed.
We also had went out of town for the night due to a personal errand that we needed to do very early this morning. I did not bring my scale, so this weight is from yesterday.
Weigh In: 157.7
This time last week: 160.9
Breakfast: Dave’s Killer Bread Everything Epic bagel with an egg, cheese, and mayo/horseradish. Two clementine oranges as well.
Lunch: Homemade Chicken Noodle soup that my better half made the other night, which has carrots, onions, chicken and celery.
Dinner: Rest of the crustless taco pie that we had last week for dinner. Added homemade salsa and 1 small avocado.
Snacks: 1 small pumpkin cheesecake square.
A few things I’m still keeping an eye out on:
- Amount of sugar in a serving – if it’s more than 4g, I am being cautious
- Amount of protein in a serving – I’m aiming for at least 20g of protein per serving each meal
- Amount of fiber in a serving – I’m doing my best to aim for 20g of fiber each day, but that sure can be difficult!
- If I have a sweet tooth craving, I turn on the keurig and add creamer to my cup of coffee

Achievement– use a Fitbit or other type of tracker? Check out Achievement. It will count your steps and earn you points, which can be redeemed for an Amazon gift card.
