I’m always on the lookout for healthier pizza crust recipes. This cottage cheese pizza crust is protein-packed and I can’t tell that it was even made with cottage cheese. Eggs are typically 70 calories each and cottage cheese is 110 per cup (or at least that is what it was with the kind I used), so this makes for a pretty filling meal. Depending on the type & amount of toppings and cheese you use, that can add quite a bit more calories.
If you have a Pizzazz, I’ve included the amount of time to cook the crust & pizza with toppings. Regardless if you use the oven or Pizzazz, I use a piece of parchment paper, which I did not spray with oil.

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 TBSP parmesan cheese
- Seasonings of your choice – I used an Italian Herb Seasoning grinder
- Pasta sauce (I use 1/4 – 1/2 cup of my own homemade sauce)
- Toppings of your choice
- Cheese of your choice and the amount is up to you.
Directions:
- If using the oven, preheat to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, add the eggs, and whisk together – I used a fork to do this.
- Add the cottage cheese and parmesan cheese to the egg mix.
- Add the seasonings of your choice and mix together. I used a fork to do this.

- Spread out on parchment paper to form a circle.

- If cooking in the oven, place in oven once ready for 35-40 minutes. If using the Pizzazz, cook for 20 minutes (no preheating needed).

- I cooked the crust until it was golden brown on top, or close to it. Using hot pads, remove from the oven. Add sauce, toppings & cheese.

- Cook for another 5-10 minutes in the oven. I cooked mine on the Pizzazz for 12 more minutes.

- Remove with hot pads, cut, let cool for a few minutes, then enjoy!
