Weight Loss Journey – 10.27.2022

This morning I woke up not feeling super tired like I have been.  Last night I completed another virtual 5k and maybe that had something to do with it!  The last virtual 5k that I completed, my time was 44:39.  This time it was 42:14.  I had signed up for a virtual wine 5k holiday bundle, so this month’s was a Haunted Wine Run – Witch Way to the Wine, which I celebrated afterwards with a couple glasses of chardonnay.

My workouts lately have been the C25K and walking on an incline.  I needed to do something different and am very glad I chose this route.  My goal is to build up enough endurance to run a full 5k and the C25K app is going to help me do that.

I’ve slacked on getting certain types of food in as well, so I’m going to attempt writing a daily weight loss journey update again for you all!

Since I started the Omada program, I have now lost 13.7lbs.

Weigh In:  157.8
This time last week:  158.9

This time last year I weighed 172 and seeing the difference really makes me proud!

Breakfast:  1 banana, 1 clementine, Protein coffee latte smoothie with ice, almond milk, honey, greek yogurt, coffee, unsweetened cocoa powder.

Lunch:  Leftover lasagna with a salad that had onions, tomatoes, shredded cheese and Ken’s Steak Ceasar dressing.

Dinner:  Two grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches on Dave’s Killer White Bread Done Right bread – light mayo and horseradish sauce is on the side:

No snacks for me today – all of that food kept me full and satisfied!  I’ve also drank over 64 ounces of water so far.

A few things I’m still keeping an eye out on:

  • Amount of sugar in a serving – if it’s more than 4g, I am being cautious
  • Amount of protein in a serving – I’m aiming for at least 20g of protein per serving each meal
  • Amount of fiber in a serving – I’m doing my best to aim for 20g of fiber each day, but that sure can be difficult!
  • If I have a sweet tooth craving, I turn on the keurig and add creamer to my cup of coffee

**I am not a nutritionist or personal trainer by any means and my results can very much vary from anyone else’s.  Please keep that in mind and feel free to share this blog with friends!
