“A gentle and productive daily routine keeps me feeling grounded.” This week I started a new routine, with getting up early enough to get a workout in and also have enough time to get ready for work and start my day on time. The feeling you get when completing a workout first thing in the morning is really a great feeling!
Featured Amazon Product of the Day: Each post I’m going to include a link to a product I’ve purchased on Amazon that I absolutely love! It may or may not be health-related.
If you are a fan of bloody mary’s and love having a spicy one… this mix is out of this world amazing! I’ve mixed it with Zing Zang and also regular tomato juice with lemon juice and am beyond impressed with both.
Workout today: Time to Run on Apple Fitness+ in London with Coach Cory! I know I just did a run in Regent’s Park, London earlier this week, but this one did not have any landmarks that were the same. It was interesting to learn about another open air theatre that London has. I ran 2.96 miles in just under 36 minutes.
Weigh In: 160.8
This time last week: 159.3
Breakfast: Coffee with creamer. Two grilled cheese on Dave’s Killer Bread White Bread Done Right with horseradish/mayo and two clementines.
Lunch: Leftover venison stew with Amish noodles from the other night with green beans and ranch/buffalo sauce drizzled on top.
Dinner: Leftover homemade hamburger helper with buffalo cauliflower.
A few things I’m still keeping an eye out on:
- Amount of sugar in a serving – if it’s more than 4g, I am being cautious
- Amount of protein in a serving – I’m aiming for at least 20g of protein per serving each meal
- Amount of fiber in a serving – I’m doing my best to aim for 20g of fiber each day, but that sure can be difficult!
- If I have a sweet tooth craving, I turn on the keurig and add creamer to my cup of coffee
**I am not a nutritionist or personal trainer by any means and my results can very much vary from anyone else’s. Please keep that in mind and feel free to share this blog with friends!
