Weight Loss Journey – 11.18.2022

Happy Friday everyone!  I am striving to get past 10k steps today… I am tired in more ways than one.  My better half is amazing – as I’m trying to get my active minutes in, he is waiting to watch our show until I am done.

I heard about the ultimatum Elon Musk gave to the Twitter workers – seriously!!  Work your ass off.  Do what you would want others to do for you.  Life is not handed to you.  You work for what you earn and this is exactly why I am posting these blogs.  I don’t earn enough on these to quit my job, which is fine – make a difference in not just your life, but other people’s lives.  Get off your lazy ass and do yourself a favor to make your life meaningful.  The world does NOT revolve around you.

Workout today:  Trying my best to get at least 50 active minutes through Fitbit.  I’m currently at 39 at 8:17 p.m. EST.
Weigh In:  155.9
This time last week:  157.6

Breakfast:  Grilled cheese with a mayo/horseradish sauce.

Lunch:  Chili with two grilled cheese – with the Dave’s Killer Bread and thin sargento slices of cheese.

Dinner:  Late lunch.  I had Black Cherry White Claws with cherry vodka.

Snacks:  Where’s the crust pizza with ham and pepperoni.


A few things I’m still keeping an eye out on:

  • Amount of sugar in a serving – if it’s more than 4g, I am being cautious
  • Amount of protein in a serving – I’m aiming for at least 20g of protein per serving each meal
  • Amount of fiber in a serving – I’m doing my best to aim for 20g of fiber each day, but that sure can be difficult!
  • If I have a sweet tooth craving, I turn on the keurig and add creamer to my cup of coffee

Achievement– use a Fitbit or other type of tracker?  Check out Achievement.  It will count your steps and earn you points, which can be redeemed for an Amazon gift card.

Paidviewpoint – Do you love taking surveys, but not spending too much time doing so?  This is a great one to join, if you haven’t already.

Fetch Rewards – Simply scan your receipt and receive points that can earn you amazon gift cards.

Inbox Dollars – Paid to click emails, surveys, money for certain items on receipts, and more!

Crowdtap – Some surveys are super quick to take – get points and redeem for gift cards.
