Yesterday was a busy, but good, day! Even though I walked over 30k steps, I still stayed at the same weight.

Activity: Got a lot done around the house, walked outside and on the treadmill.
Breakfast: 1/2 Dave’s Killer Bread Epic Everything Bagel with low fat cream cheese mixed with blueberries, 2 eggs with cottage cheese, eggs and mushrooms, watermelon.
AM Snack: None
Lunch: We went to the Buckhorn since we have not been there in a while. Steak bites with homemade horseradish sauce, 1/2 of the order of cheese curds with ranch.
PM Snack: None
Dinner: 1 tilapia filet with olive oil and lemon pepper seasoning, green beans with mushrooms and tajin seasoning, rest of cheese curds and ranch dressing from lunch. Not all cheese curds are pictured!
Water is very important – especially if you are moving around a lot! My goal typically is to have three 32 oz mugs of ice water by the time I go to bed. If I walk over 12k steps, I’m definitely aiming to drink more water than that.
A few things I’m keeping an eye out on:
- Amount of sugar in a serving – if it’s more than 4g, I am being cautious
- Amount of protein in a serving – I’m aiming for at least 20g of protein per serving each meal
- If I have a sweet tooth craving, I turn on the keurig and add creamer to my cup of coffee
