On Wednesday, December 8th, our beer of the day is called Rye Hipster Brunch Stout, which is brewed by Odd Side Ales.  They are out of Grand Haven, MI.

After the first sip, I immediately thought this is a great dessert beer.  It has such a great flavor to it and at 12.7% ABV, it’s definitely a sipper.  This is a rye stout brewed with maple syrup, aged in rye whiskey barrels with coffee and bacon added.  We are beyond impressed by this one and would definitely pick up more at the store, should we happen to run across this again.  If you are a fan of porters/stouts, definitely keep an eye out for this one!
