On the 4th day of December, we learned that today’s beer is a porter and milk stout. The shot is another cream one.
I remember the Omar Porter from last year, only because of the cat on the can. This is from the stout advent box. Omar Porter is brewed by Crane Brewing out of Raytown, MO. It is 6% ABV and not bitter at all. Very smooth and tastes like a porter!
The beer I have for the night is a lot better than yesterday’s! This peanut butter chocolate milk stout is amazing. If you are a peanut butter fan, this is definitely one to at least try. This milk stout is brewed by 4Hands Brewing Co. out of Missouri. It is 7.1% ABV and does not have too heavy of a flavor at all. There is not any bitterness, and is very smooth. Definitely a favorite! It does state on the can that it pairs well with chocolate cake.
Our shot of the night is St. Patrick’s Irish Cream Liqueur. It tastes like Bailey’s, if not better. It is 16% ABV and is Irish Whiskey blended with real Wisconsin dairy cream and natural flavors. This is bottled by Minhas Miro Distillery in Monroe, WI. If you are looking for an alternative to Bailey’s, this is definitely worth a try!

ibotta – one of the first apps I used for rewards in 2013. This is a favorite of mine since you learn about so many new products out there… if you are wanting to try that new seasoning, why not get money back as well? Since 2013, I have earned $1,124.59.

GetUpside – you may have heard of this one on the radio, but if you have a car and get gas often, check this one out. With living in the U.P. of Michigan, I didn’t think there would be a gas station that participated. It does! The money back fluctuates, but one day it was 20 cents per gallon it would give back. Since starting to use in June 2019, I’ve earned $10.50 so far. For signing up using my referral, you will get an extra 15 cents back per gallon. I will get $7 after you send a successful receipt. Their support team is also awesome if they are ever needed!
OnMyWay – please stop texting and driving, or looking at your phone. Need help? This app is what you need. You receive 5 cents for every mile driven where your phone is on the locked screen. You get rewarded for referrals, but can also accumulate $10,000 to receive $1,000 in your bank account. I’m already over $200.
Lucky Day – love scratch tickets? Check out this app. You have chances to win a monthly prize, daily, and get to scratch a lot of tickets off. With those tokens received, you will be able to redeem those for items as well as gift cards.
