Today we woke up and it was not snowing… however, as the day went on, the snow did come back! Very pretty at times, too. Luckily, I was able to get out for a private painting session down the road, so it was nice to get out and learn some new techniques from a great instructor.
As I walked in the door, the smell of the tri-tip beef I had put in the crockpot at lunch started lingering towards where I was standing at.
After dinner, we blindly chose our beers for the night. Josh had Option #2, which I know I’ve written about in an earlier post when it was one of mine chosen. It is definitely one of my favorites. The one I had chosen was an Imperial Milk Stout from Rochester Mills.
The Imperial Milkshake Stout is very smooth – especially for 9% ABV. Kristen said Rumchata is one of her favorites as well. If you love Rumchata as well, try the Rumchata cupcakes – they are really good! Pinterest is where I had found a great recipe for those.
