This blog is usually around different types of beer, so tonight it’ll be changed up by writing about a Pinterest recipe found, and a wine that I’ve wanted to try since last week.
This recipe comes from a blog located here: http://www.tammileetips.com/2016/11/crock-pot-tater-tot-sloppy-joe-casserole-recipe/?m
A couple of notes – this recipe did get modified a bit…
- Crockpot was not used
- Put tater tots in oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes in 9 x 13 pan first, while burger and everything else was cooking
- I did not have tomato sauce so a bit more than a cup of ketchup was used
- Added Weber’s chicken and beer seasoning (just a couple shakes of this…)
- Not a fan of pepper or salt so regular garlic salt was added (just a bit!)
- No kidney beans
If you have any further questions on the recipe… please let me know!
As for the wine … whether this is good with the meal or not, it’s great if you love a Chardonnay, especially if you’d like to drink a glass before eating.
When this was first spotted at Lucky’s Market, it was automatically placed in my cart. If you have never heard of this place, please look it up – you may love grocery shopping that much more! 🙂 My love’s name is Josh, so that is why the excitement around seeing this is there.
