As this is a later post, waiting to drink this beer has been well worth it.  Ballast Point Brewing Company out of San Diego, California makes Victory at Sea, which is a Porter with coffee and vanilla.  Alc. 10.0% by volume.  If you are a fan of porters, this is definitely one to try at some point.  I most likely would not have thought to buy this type of beer, but it’s been added to the list of what I want to get at the next trip to the Craft Beer Cellar in Clayton, MO.

My sister let me know that she took the below shot tonight (along with her tequila shot that was forgotten about!) and this was reported back that it is a lot better than the one she took on December 1st!  All of her airplane shots were bought from Total Wine, in case anyone is wondering.
