Weight Loss Journey – 10.11.2023 (Review of My Pure Health Solutions)

I signed up to participate in a program through My Pure Health Solutions, which I DO NOT recommend to anyone.  You are told to not consume any oils or sugars, with the exception of coconut oil in the morning only, and if any products have added sugars/oils, to not use them for the fat burning stage.  With also learning that consuming 800-1000 calories is dangerous, this is another reason why I do not recommend this program to anyone.  Check your BMR number… that’s the amount of calories your body needs in order for your organs to fully function.

When I wrote down all the steps I did, on a daily basis it is 25.  Twenty-five steps I was willing to do and did for just under 20 days.  Yes, I lost over 10 lbs and over 20 inches, but was it worth it?  Yes and no.

After reviewing the ‘sugar’ and ‘artificial sweetener’ list many times throughout the program, I started remembering many of the names.  One morning, while in the shower I noticed that the shampoo has Sorbitol listed – this is an added sugar.  This shampoo was provided by the company and I inquired about this with the company.  I was told this is still an approved product, regardless of that sugar being an ingredient.  When reaching out to the owner about this, to help me better understand why it is that I can use this product with an added sugar, but can’t use other products.  When the program was started 10 years ago, the owner went with the products that had been approved to not pull people out of fat burn, so they stuck with them.  I was told I am welcome to try other products and if it doesn’t pull me out of fat burn, to let them know so they can add it to their list.  My thoughts are, everyone is different, so what pulls me out of fat burn may not do the same for others, so I’ll keep what works for me, to myself.   Maybe this shampoo didn’t have ‘Sorbitol’ added 10 years ago, too.  Ingredients change!

I was willing to continue on, especially since I had just a few days left in the fat burn phase.  It was a Saturday evening and I had just put the last of the weight loss drops under my tongue for that day.  As I happened to review the ingredients, natural flavors and xylitol stuck out.  After I had received the products before even starting the program, I had told my husband that these drops had a smell like the vapes have.  This would make sense why I started having a reaction that I have when I ingest gelatin, which is a moderate – severe reaction to it.  I know natural flavors can sometimes truly mean natural flavors, so it was more so the xylitol that was the last straw.  An email was sent to the company saying how I will no longer be participating, to not send the Zyto hand scanner to me a 2nd time, and to not schedule any calls with me moving forward.  I did not ever receive a response back and the email was sent on October 28th – two days after reporting my concern of the shampoo.

The day of Sunday, October 29th is when I no longer took the weight loss drops, supplements, or other drops they had sent.  I had moved the products to my closet, which I ended up tossing recently because they were really making that space smell unpleasant.
