Day 24: Christmas Ale

On Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24th, 2020, our beer of the night is Christmas Ale, which is a scotch ale.

This scotch ale isn’t too bad – however, we have had it before.  This is brewed by Bell’s Brewery out of Comstock, Michigan.  At 7.5%, it was a nice sipper to have on Christmas Eve.  The shelf life says it is 6 months, so I suppose this is a good one to have in a timely fashion instead of holding onto it.  On the back it says ‘This traditional Scotch Ale is rich and malty with notes of caramel and a warm finish.  Certain to make any occasion festive, or at least a bit more bearable.  Enjoy with the company of friends and family.’  If you see this one and love scotch, it is a great one to at least try.

Be on the lookout for a final post of all the advent beers we tried this year.
