Day 8 of our Adult Advent boxes and Day 3 of it snowing here in Michigan where we are at.  With being from Southern Illinois, it still amazes me how it just keeps snowing!  I am not complaining – am only amazed… and drawn into watching the snow during the day at times.  One minute I will look up and it’s only spitting some snowflakes out… the next, it’s coming down pretty good!

Tonight’s randomly selected beers are good ones!  Josh chose one that ended up being a coffee milk stout and mine is Option #2 – one that I was introduced to last year in my Adult Advent box from the Craft Beer Cellar in Clayton, MO.

Josh’s beer was better to take a closer picture of tonight – the look of the goat… too funny!  It is a very smooth coffee stout.  It is 5.5 ABV% and says on the side… “Giddy common ground brewed buzz jitter rolla proud”.  This is by Public House Brewing Company in St. James, Missouri… wonder if it is by St. James Winery?

Option #2 is a fan favorite… especially if you like stouts.  The whale on the can is even cooler.  This is an imperial milk stout brewed with coffee beans… which is another reason why it is one of our favorites.  So far we have only been able to find this in the St. Louis, Missouri area.  Rock Bridge Brewing Company in Columbia, Missouri is who canned this and is 9.2% ABV.

Kristen’s shot of the night is Kinky green and she has chosen to mix it with a candy apple martini mixer… sounds pretty good!!
