Day 1 – Innis & Gunn/Christmas Roast/Stroopwafel Shot

Next year I will have to make sure to wrap the beer Josh tries a bit differently… he can tell what type of beer it is from the bottle shape apparently!

Anyways, our randomly selected beers tonight were Innis & Gunn Rum Aged beer and Christmas Roast by Rochester Mills here in Michigan.

If you are a fan of barrel aged beer, the Innis & Gunn types are definitely worth it. Very smooth! This one is at 6.8% ABV.

The Christmas Roast by Rochester Mills is good… at 8.5% ABV. The smell of the coffee you can definitely tell. This is one that I would buy a 6 pack of!

Kristen ended up having a really good shot! If you ever run across Stroopwafel – it’s worth to buy the bottle. I found this in St. Louis at total wine.
