It is Day 7 of the Craft Beer Advent box for December 2022.  Our seventh beer is French Toast Bastard, which is brewed by Founders Brewing out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  This one we found at Provisions in Boyne City and we are sure glad we picked up more than one bottle!  The vanilla, cinnamon, maple… you can taste it all!  At 11.1% this is a craft beer you definitely want to savor.   This is more like an ale – not thick or as heavy at all.   It is part of the barrel aged series – bourbon barrel-aged scotch ale.

This is a VERY limited edition craft beer and is worth every penny to buy the full four pack if you run across it.  No bitterness whatsoever – very smooth… there is a slight aftertaste, but nothing to make you stop wanting to drink this amazing beer.  If you appreciate craft beer, this is a winner for sure.
