As we are getting to the last few beers (and shots), it’s been an interesting mix and has been giving us ideas on how to make this better for next year.
The beers for the 19th day of December were Java Stout and Holiday Cheer; Kristen’s shot was Cake Vodka.
The Santa Fe Brewing Company Imperial Java Stout is an ale with coffee beans. This is one I had before, but this time was Josh’s turn. This is 8% ABV.
The Holiday Cheer is by Rochester Mills Beer Co. At 5.2% ABV, you can slightly taste the cherries and cranberries. On the side it says ‘May your cup runneth over with cheer and good beer!’ This is another that was nice to try, but I probably wouldn’t buy it in the store.
The Cake Vodka that Kristen has is a favorite of mine… especially when you make upside down pineapple cake martinis with it!
