If you love pizza and want to have control over the ingredients, this is a great recipe to use. When I make this, I find it easiest to start the crusts in the morning. This gives the dough time to rest (2 hours) and then you can roll out, bake, let cool & freeze the crusts. This can make anywhere from 2 (thick crust) pizzas or 4-6 thin crust pizzas.
Items needed:
- Stand mixer
- Rolling pin
- *optional – Pizza Dough Docker – to prevent bubbles from forming. This is the one I have and love it (I do not receive commission for sharing the link).

Ingredients:
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1-2 TBSP olive oil
- 12 oz. can of beer
Directions:
- Using a stand mixer and the dough hook attachment, add the ingredients into the bowl. I’ve tried adding the beer first and then the dry ingredients, but it doesn’t seem to matter.

- Mix on a medium speed until the dough stops sticking to the side. I will usually add more olive oil as the dough is mixing.

- Once the dough is mixed, place in a bowl. I drizzle a little bit of olive oil on the top and place a warm damp cloth over the top. Set a timer for 2 hours.

- Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
- Divide the crusts into 4-6 balls. If you do 2, the crusts will be rather large, unless you like thick crust. Sprinkle flour down where you will be rolling the crusts out.

- Roll each dough ball out to your preferred thickness.

- Before placing on a pizza pan to bake, I will spray some olive oil and then place the crust on the pan. I’ll then use the pizza dough docker to put little holes in the crust. Place in the oven for 5-7 minutes.

- While the crust is baking, start rolling out the next crust.
- Using hot pads, remove the crust from the oven once done and place on a baking sheet. I’ll use parchment paper to put the crust on.

- Repeat this for the other crusts and if you are wanting to make some of these right away to eat, add the sauce, toppings and cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350.
- Another option is once these crusts are cooled, you can either place them in the freezer before putting them in a bag, or you can add sauce, then freeze. You can also add toppings & cheese if you prefer. Otherwise, this can all be done when you are ready to make the pizza.

Enjoy!
