This is  a great side to have and you can use regular spaghetti, linguine, fettucine, or angel hair pasta.  Is a fan favorite in our house!  Original recipe I used is noted at the bottom.

Ingredients:

• 3 TBSP butter
• 1 TBSP minced garlic
• 2 1/2 cups chicken broth (2 cups if using angel hair pasta)
• 1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream (or 1 cup if using angel hair pasta)
• 1/4 tsp Thyme
• 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
• 1/4 tsp Oregano
• 1/4 tsp Basil
• 1/4 tsp Parsley
• 8 oz pasta (whichever you choose – spaghetti, linguine, fettucine, or angel hair
• 1/2-3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1.  Melt butter in a sauce pan.
   
2.  Add minced garlic to the melted butter and cook 1-2 minutes.
   
3.  Add chicken broth to the melted butter and garlic.
   
4.  Add heavy whipping cream, Thyme, Onion Powder, Oregano, Basil, and Parsley.  Bring to a boil.
   
5.  Add the pasta and stir periodically.  Note that if you are using angel hair pasta, that you will not need to boil this very long.
   
6.  As the noodles start to get done, add the parmesan cheese and stir.  If the sauce seems thin, it will thicken.
   
7.  Once the pasta is done, you are ready to serve!  Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.  We had this with the crockpot bourbon meatballs – SO good!
